It highlights how digital tools, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) can revolutionize educational systems, enhancing both the delivery and substance of sustainable education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics of interest for this Special Issue include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Computational thinking in sustainable contexts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Computational science for environmental challenges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Educational robotics focusing on sustainable development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 STEAM approaches to integrating sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Serious games and game-based learning for sustainability education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Digital tools and innovations promoting sustainable practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 AI and ML applications in environmental education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 IoT and smart technologies for educational advancements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Remote lab technologies for distant learning on sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Case studies on policy and practice in sustainable education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Contemporary pedagogical approaches to sustainability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite submissions that propose new methods and integrate these innovations within the framework of sustainability in education.
