We are pleased to announce that two papers authored by members of the INVEST Alliance have been accepted for presentation at the 6th IEEE International Conference of the Portuguese Society for Engineering Education (SPEE 2025), taking place on 16-18 July 2025 at the Setúbal School of Technology and the Barreiro School of Technology, part of the Polytechnic University of Setúbal in Portugal. This year’s conference theme is “Emerging Trends in Engineering Education: Adapting to a Changing World,” and it brings together thought leaders to explore how engineering education is evolving to meet global challenges.

It presents an intelligent, modular academic advising system that leverages fuzzy logic and semantic technologies to offer personalized learning pathway recommendations based on students’ profiles, interests, and career goals.
